How Baasha Began
Baasha started with a simple observation: talented music teachers were everywhere, and eager students were searching for them — but they rarely found each other. Existing platforms either took huge commissions from teachers or charged students exorbitant fees.
We saw an opportunity to do things differently. What if students could access music education for free? What if guiders could pay a flat, predictable monthly fee instead of losing a percentage of every lesson? And what if the whole experience was built around real, face-to-face connections in your own community?
That vision became Baasha. We built a platform that puts students first — free access to find, connect, and learn from skilled music guiders in their area. And we built a sustainable model where guiders pay a modest subscription to reach motivated students who are ready to learn.
Today, Baasha connects hundreds of guiders with thousands of students across dozens of cities. Every day, we see the magic of face-to-face music education: a child's first chord, an adult rediscovering their passion, a guider building the teaching career they always wanted.
